Since fall is rapidly approaching, it’s time to put away all the summery foods, and prepare for yummy fall foods!  Thanks to one of my AMAZING Facebook friends, I’m bringing you her awesomesauce Spiced Pumpkin Apple Pancakes with Whipped Cinnamon Sugar Butter.  Let’s get to the How To’s, shall we?

Spiced Pumpkin Apple Pancakes


2 cups Aunt Jemima pancake mix
1 cup pumpkin
1 cup unsweetened apple sauce
2 eggs
3/4 cup milk
2 tbsp oil
About half a ton of cinnamon
Any other fall spices you want – cloves, ginger, nutmeg
Mix it up and griddle it!

For the topping:

Softened butter
Even moar cinnamon
Brown sugar
A little whipping cream
Whip it!

Yum, yum!  Talk about a great start to your chilly fall mornings!  If your kids like to eat breakfast in the morning, why not try these out?  There’s nothing better than a hot breakfast on a cold school day morning, to start their day, as well as yours, just right.  I think you could even serve these on Thanksgiving morning!  A head start to the pumpkin pie you’ll be eating for dessert.
